12TH MANVILLE — The Super Bowl is just days away and unless you have been locked in a closet, or outside of the U.S., you’ve probably heard talk of the 12th man.
The Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks will square off Sunday for the Super Bowl crown and the Seahawks faithful, known as the 12th Man, will be out in full force.
This video recently popped up and even if you’re not a Seattle fan, I think you’re going to like it.
A son surprises his mom, who has been a die-hard Hawks fan for years with Super Bowl tickets. The mom’s reaction is priceless and when you hear the whole story it’s even better.
In the "about" section of the YouTube video the son tells the entire story in his own words. But I’ll give you a small breakdown here.

In 1983 the Seahawks went to the AFC Championship by beating Miami. The mom wanted to go welcome the team home at the airport, but her husband thought it wouldn’t be a great idea because she was so far along in her pregnancy. The son always felt bad that he was the reason she couldn’t go cheer on her team, so 30 years later he made it up to her by surprising her with Super Bowl tickets.
Check out the video and feel your heart warm and your self worth plummet as you realize you’re not nearly as great of a child as this guy.
