Andrew Adams reportingIt's going to get more expensive to attend the University of Utah.
Tuition will go up again next year at the U of U. This time, the tuition hike is nearly 6 percent, or $294, for a full-time student. The yearly tuition now will be $5,281. That's nearly double what it was in the mid-'90s, but it's still below the national average.
School officials say the extra money will go toward increasing professors' pay, hiring new professors and teachers, improving counseling, and funding some remodeling.
