(KSL News) South Salt Lake could soon jump from being one of the smallest cities in Salt Lake County to the seventh largest in the entire state.
The Salt Lake Tribune reports South Salt Lake officials are meeting with representatives of the township of Millcreek to discuss a possible merger between the two.
Millcreek has until 2010 to decide whether it wants to remain unincorporated, form its own city, or join with a neighboring city. South Salt Lake is the only neighboring city that's expressed interest in annexing the township.
