SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- A federal judge has ordered Time Warner Corp.'s Time magazine to turn over documents to a former White House aide to use in his defense in the CIA leak case, according to a media report Friday. The order also said the New York Times might have to turn over some information, the Associated Press reported. However, the report said, Judge Reggie B. Walton's order reduced the scope of documents the newspaper and other news organizations would have to provide to lawyers for the defendant, I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby.
