DALLAS (AP) - Danny Green didn't miss a shot in scoring 22 points, Tim Duncan had 21 points and 13 rebounds, and the San Antonio Spurs took advantage of the Dallas Mavericks' weakened frontcourt for a 116-109 victory Thursday night.

Mavericks centers Samuel Dalembert and Brandan Wright were fighting undisclosed illnesses and 6-foot-7 DeJuan Blair spent most of the night guarding the 6-11 Duncan, who recorded his 10th double-double this season and 768th of his career.

A 12-0 Mavericks run cut the Spurs' lead to 100-97 with 3:55 to play, but Duncan then scored six consecutive points and passed to Green for a 3-pointer and a 110-103 advantage.

Green was 7 for 7 from the field, including 5 for 5 from 3-point range. Tony Parker added 23 points.

Dirk Nowitzki led Dallas with 25 points and Monta Ellis scored 23, including nine during the 12-0 run. Blair had 14 points and 11 rebounds.

The Spurs went on a 12-2 run over the last 2:52 of the first quarter to take a 27-20 lead.

Green's three free throws tied the score 18-18, then Manu Ginobili scored five consecutive points on a 3-point shot and a layup with an assist from Boris Diaw.

Duncan led the Spurs with seven first-quarter points. Nowitzki and Blair scored six apiece for Dallas.

The lead grew to 32-22 on Parker's 3-pointer just over a minute into the second and to 42-30 on Green's 3-point shot with 8:11 to play in the first half. The Mavericks cut the deficit to 58-51 at halftime.

Green had started 26 of San Antonio's first 29 games, but Marco Belinelli was a late switch in Thursday's lineup. Green didn't enter the game until 3:31 remained in the first quarter. He scored 11 of his 14 first-half points in the second.

Duncan finished the half with 13 points and six rebounds.

For the Mavericks, Nowitzki scored 12 points and Blair went 5 for 5 from the field for 10 points. Vince Carter also scored 10, all in the second quarter.

Dallas began the game 3 for 10 from the foul line before Nowitzki hit two at 7:26 of the second. That began a streak of 21 in a row, and Dallas finished 24 for 31.

The Mavericks scored the first five points of the second half on Jose Calderon's 3-pointer and Nowitzki's fadeaway to pull within 58-56.

A 9-0 run, with the first six points by Parker, boosted the Spurs' lead to 71-60.
