(AP) - Three years after Cam Newton led Auburn to the national championship, Heisman Trophy finalist Tre Mason and the high-flying Tigers are back in the BCS title game.
No. 2 Auburn defeated No. 9 Missouri 59-42 to capture the Southeastern Conference championship. The Tigers will play top-ranked Florida State, who thumped No. 22 Duke 45-7 in the Atlantic Coast Conference championship.
Some other images from a memorable championship week feature Mizzou quarterback James Franklin walking off the field despondently after the loss to Auburn and running back Jeremy Langford of No. 4 Michigan State high-stepping past an Ohio State defender en route to a 34-24 win over the seventh-ranked Buckeyes in the Big Ten championship.
Here is a gallery of photos from a week that reshaped the national title picture in college football.
