Utah Symphony | Utah Opera recently launched "The Campaign for Perpetual Motion," a 20 million dollar public fundraising campaign that will continue to build and showcase the organization throughout the entire state of Utah and beyond. The campaign comes as the Utah Symphony prepares to celebrate its 75th anniversary season in 2015-2016.
Utah Symphony | Utah Opera announced the Campaign for Perpetual Motion and its lead gift of 5 million dollars from the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation one month ago. This landmark gift, including its 2013-2014 Season Sponsorship, carries on the Eccles Foundation's decades-long support totaling more than 32 million dollars.
Special plans in development include a statewide tour as well as a tour with free concerts in or near each of Utah's national parks. Utah Symphony will also tour to the West and East coasts, and to Europe and Asia.
