During its World Congress and 59th Annual Conference, the International Downtown Association recognized Salt Lake City's Downtown Alliance with a Downtown Pinnacle Award for its work and initiatives related to Marketing and Communication.
The "I Am Downtown" and "My Own Downtown" programs qualified in the category of Marketing and Communication and received high accolades from the International Downtown Association. This category highlights plans or strategies that used, print, electronic media or multimedia efforts to promote downtown and further the value of city centers.
The Washington, D.C.-based International Downtown Association is a champion for vital and livable urban centers. It strives to inform, influence, and inspire downtown leaders and advocates.
