FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) -- Brent Hackett scored 19 points and Kevin Langford added 16 to lead TCU to a 67-61 victory over Utah on Wednesday night.
TCU (14-12, 6-7 Mountain West) outscored Utah 13-4 over the final 6:37 of the first half and took a one-point lead at halftime on a 3-pointer by Hackett with 00:07 left. TCU led throughout much of the second half before Luka Drca hit a couple of free throws to give Utah a 52-51 lead with 6:30 left.
Alvardo Parker hit a layup with 5:36 left to put the Horned Frogs up by two at 54-52 and TCU pulled away to the final margin.
Parker had 14 points off the bench for TCU.
Luke Nevill led Utah (15-11, 6-7) with 15 points. Tyler Kepkay added 10.
The teams were evenly matched, both shooting 44 percent from the field.
TCU led 30-29 at the half.
