(KSL News) A Highway Patrol Trooper responded to a call of a reckless driver on I-15.
Near Tremonton, he caught up with the vehicle, and it was weaving in and out of traffic. The vehicle finally lost control and took out an exit sign before getting stuck.
Other motorists and the trooper ran to the car and found a disoriented woman and two very scared children.
Mandy Marshall, of Syracuse, was on her way to visit her sister when she had a diabetic seizure. "She called me when I was in Willard, and I said, 'I'll be there in a few minutes.' That's basically the last thing I remembered. I didn't feel my blood sugars getting low, it kind of just hit me fast. I guess I drove from Willard clear to Tremonton," Marshall said.
The kids were scared and slightly injured when air bags deployed.
The driver thanked those who helped her and apologized for endangering others.
