NEW YORK -- When you're hot and you know it, you hold court at a private table at one of the hippest clubs in Manhattan, with a gaggle of girlfriends around you and a bodyguard keeping watch as people cluster around to get a glimpse.

That was Lindsay Lohan, frolicking with her friends at Maxim's Hot 100 bash Wednesday night at the Meatpacking District's Buddha Bar. Lohan, who ranked third after No.1 babe Eva Longoria and No.2 Jessica Alba in the June issue of the magazine, was at a loss to say when she feels the hottest herself.

"Oh, God, I don't know!" she giggled. "When I get out of the shower in a white robe."

The Sopranos' Jamie-Lynn Sigler walked the red carpet solo, but inside the party, she held hands with her boyfriend, Scott Sartiano (who formerly dated Ashley Olsen). The No. 19-ranked beauty and former Maxim cover girl said she feels sexiest "when I'm happy, when I'm content, when I'm with my friends."

List-topper Eva Longoria skipped the party, flying to Texas instead to catch up with her boyfriend, San Antonio Spur Tony Parker, whose team beat the Dallas Mavericks in a postseason game the same night. But Sigler gave Longoria props for being tops the second year in a row: "I agree with their No. 1 choice," she said with a laugh.

Singer/actress Christina Milian, ranked 10th, performed live at the Pontiac Garage in Times Square Wednesday night in conjunction with the bash.

Kristen Bell, best known as sleuth Veronica Mars, might be in 11th place, but she conceded she doesn't always feel smokin' herself. "Like any other woman in the world, when I'm changing in front of a mirror, I absolutely don't feel sexy. I'm constantly insecure about my body."

But Bell appreciates Maxim's recognition. How did she find out that she climbed from 68th place last year to 11th this year? "I think my boyfriend's sister told me. It came as a total shock," she said.

She feels hottest "when my boyfriend tells me I look beautiful."
