(KSL News) -- Fire burned through the attic of a home this morning on Salt Lake's west side.
The fire started around 10:30 in a house for sale on 11th West 1154 South. When firefighters arrived, they say the fire had made its way into the attic. Fire crews were able to contain it.
Three dogs were reportedly inside the home. One of the dogs ran outside, and the other two were taken by Animal Control.
The cause is unknown.
