(KSL News) Manslaughter charges are being filed against a Utah County man today, even though he is believed to be in Mexico.
Raul Brito is accused of shooting and killing his roommate Manuel Saucedo during an argument at their Orem home in December.
Brito is a U.S. citizen, but his mother and sister live in Mexico. Police say his debit card was used in Tijuana four times the day after the shooting.
According to the Daily Herald, the Utah County Attorney's Office plans to pursue extradition. The case will be inactive until Brito is brought back to Utah.
