SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Family members say the late billionaire James LeVoy Sorenson left all of his wealth to charity.
Sorenson, who invented a number of medical devices that have become standard equipment, died Jan. 20 of cancer at age 86.
His oldest son, James Lee Sorenson, announced Monday that his father had dedicated his entire estate to charity. The money will be disbursed by the Sorenson Legacy Foundation over time. The family declined to say specifically how big the estate is.
The foundation has given to a broad range of charity from health care to education and the arts.
