Andrew Adams and Nicole Gonzales reportingAnother storm is dropping snow on the Wasatch Front this afternoon. It's caused school closures and made it very difficult to get around.
Once again Ogden felt the full fury of this last round of storms. Some residents say this snowy season is reminiscent of the 1983 winter.
North Ogden resident Tami Cavalli says, "It's frustrating to wake up. I have to get my kid ready and get them to daycare, so I can make it to work on time. A lot of times I don't have time to shovel."

"The problem with shoveling the snow is you have to throw it up over these big banks you see out there in the front. One pile there is close to 7 feet tall," says resident Kenneth Strebel.
Some people barely remember the last time it snowed this much. Shawn Jenson, a custodian for Weber High School, says, "The last time I seen this much snow at Weber High School I was actually a junior here in 1983, and it's just been unbelievable."
Most areas in North Ogden received over a foot last night, but stacked on top of old snow, residents are looking at 5-foot snow banks. All of that snow is creating issues for the public works department
Director of the North Ogden Public Works, Mel Blanchard, said, "A normal winter in North Ogden City we probably go through 600 ton of salt.; we're already over 2000 tons, and with the storm coming on Wednesday we have another 300 ton coming in this morning.

This winter is starting to get very expensive for North Ogden. The current snow removal budget of $30,000 is almost gone. The public works director says he's going in front of the city counsel tomorrow to request more money.
North Ogden and Alpine got 14 inches of snow. West Jordan and South Jordan picked up 11 inches of snow. Herriman and Pleasant Grove got nine inches. Only one inch was recorded at Salt Lake International Airport, with a half-inch on the lawn outside Broadcast House.
School bus service in the Ogden Valley was suspended due to the amount of snow on the ground. That impacted students from that area who attend Weber High. Classes were canceled today for several schools. School Closures
• Karl G. Maeser Preparatory Academy, Lindon
• Snowcrest Jr. High, Eden
• Valley Elementary, Huntsville
At Weber High, about three feet of snow fell yesterday and overnight. One student, Jeff Green, says a school closure would be nice. "I wish it was closed. But last time we just kept truckin' through the day, and looks like we are this time, too, I guess. We'll see," he said. Weber High held school today, but students were impacted by the bus closure.
There were some road closures this morning, but most roads have since reopened.
