(KSL News) Large amounts of heavy snow have forced many Utah highways to shut down.
U.S. 189 in Provo Canyon and State Road 92 in American Fork Canyon are both closed and will remain closed until the morning.
Many canyon roads are also under restrictions. Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons are restricted to vehicles with chains or four-wheel drive. All semis traveling I-80 in Parley's Canyon are required to have chains.
