Photos courtesy Jack Jones(KSL News) -- What started out as a celebration today, turned into a train wreck at Utah's historic Promontory Point.
There was a re-creation of the driving of the Golden Spike, which linked the country by rail 137- years ago.
Today's event also unveiled Utah's Commemorative State Quarter, which features that moment in history.
Governor Huntsman and other dignitaries were on hand.
Unfortunately, when the ceremony was over, the engineer mistakenly poured the coal to "The Jupiter" and ran right into ole number "119", both engine replicas.
No one was hurt. Damage, was minor.
