CLEARFIELD — Police are looking for a man who robbed a discount smoke shop at gunpoint Wednesday.
The man walked into Smokey's Discount Cigarette Store, 1580 S. State, with a handgun and demanded cash, according to police. He was carrying a blue and black backpack across his chest, and used it to carry out an unknown amount of cash and several boxes of Marlboro cigarettes.
- White man in his 20s or 30s
- Shaved head
- Wearing long, dark colored shorts and a dark shirt with the number 87 written in white on the back
- Wearing a black hoodie used to cover his face
- Has black tattoo on his right forearm
Police responded about 3:15 p.m. Wednesday. The man, who is described as a white man in his 20s or 30s with a shaved head, was wearing long, dark colored shorts, a dark shirt with the number 87 written in white on the back, and a black hoodie that he used to cover his face. He has a black tattoo on his right forearm.
The man should be considered dangerous and is possibly armed, police said.
