(KSL News) A woman was struck by a car while crossing Redwood Road this morning.
Salt Lake Police say she was crossing in the crosswalk at 500 South Redwood Road. However, a witness, Chris Lowe, says she got out of the crosswalk before she reached the sidewalk.
"The light changed abruptly, and the next thing you know, I guess the car hit her. I turned around and found her flying off the front end of the hood," Lowe said.
The driver stayed on scene. Police didn't release the victim's condition but said she would be OK.
