Regal Cinemas will offer deaf moviegoers close-captioning glasses in over 6,000 theaters by month's end. The glasses synch with the theater's projector, displaying captions for the hard-of-hearing and also offering descriptive audio for the visually impaired.

How many times have you wished you could catch a quick nap between flights? Abu Dhabi's international airport has found a solution with sleep plods for tired travelers. For just $12.25 an hour, visitors can catch some shut-eye and a reprieve from the noise and crowds of a busy airport.

What if you don't want to fly all the way to Abu Dhabi to use a sleep pod? MetroNap will sell you their home energy pod for $16,000. It's a hefty price tag, but the company claims to have harnessed NASA technology for a rejuvenating rest.
