Have you ever wanted to answer your phone, even when you've forgotten it in your car? How about rent a time machine, or create a prototype for your big idea? Technology just became a little more accessible. KSL's Amy Iverson has the latest on ways to bring innovations home.

3D printing has captured the imaginations of techies for a while now, but access to these printers has always seemed elusive. Now the process of using your computer to quickly produce a replacement part or prototype will soon be at your fingertips. Office-supply chain Staples will have 3D printers in their stores by the end of June. They cost about $1300 and are ready to go right out of the box. The printers come with 25 free 3D templates, can work on a Mac or a PC, and can be wireless. The new devices will print things up to about five inches square and each color cartridge will cost about $50.

How many times have you missed a call at home or because your cell phone was in another room, or you left it in your car? The Renny Bluetooth Home Ringer plugs in, and connects with your phone. When a call comes in, no matter where tour phone is, the unit rings and announces who is calling. It's also a speaker, so you can answer on the Renny, or even use if to stream music from your phone. These cost about $130.

Are you ready to go back to the future? Well, with this Delorean rental, at least you can pretend. Although this car is not the one used in the films, it is street legal. Time machine rental says the car can travel to anywhere in the U.S. for the right price.
