The Tacoma Rainiers rallied with three runs in seventh and one in the ninth for a 5-4 win over the Salt Lake Bees on Saturday night. Two of the three runs surrendered by Nathan Bland (0-1) were unearned in the seventh inning. Jered Weaver started for Salt Lake and went six innings and allowed just one run on five hits with eight strikeouts and one walk.
Dallas McPherson had two hits, including a solo homer, while Brian Specht added a bases empty blast. Juan Rivera, in the second game of his injury rehab assignment, went 1-for-4 with one double as the designated hitter.
