LOGAN, Utah (AP) - A 20-year-old Amalga man is being held in the Cache County jail on $95,000 bail after his arrest on felony sex abuse charges involving children.
Sheriff Chad Jensen says Kyle Wayne Nelson has been charged with eight counts of forcible sexual abuse and three counts of dealing in materials harmful to a minor. He was arrested on April 11 and made his first appearance in 1st District Court on Monday.
Jensen told The Herald Journal in Logan that someone contacted the Division of Child and Family Services to report that three children were being abused — a teenage girl, a pre-teen boy and a younger boy.
Jensen says the girl was sexually abused, and that Nelson allegedly showed pornographic images to all three of the children.
