Jim Cross, KSL Newsradio Deer Valley High School students in Glendale, Ariz., are stunned by the death of three classmates in the tragic bus crash in southeastern Utah.
Marc Rasmussen, Erika Sheffey and Jasmine Bowden said good-bye to classmates before the holiday break and didn't make it home again from a Rocky Mountain ski trip.
Deer Valley students say the deaths of three classmates will change forever how they view life.
"Seriously, I'm really sad. Your whole life just flashes before your eyes," one student said.
Another student said, "[I] just sat there, like it was all quiet, and you'd walk through the halls and everybody was crying."
Students passed by a memorial of cards, candles and teddy bears on their way to school this morning.
