MILLCREEK — A man died Thursday afternoon, just hours after being struck by a car.

According to police, 64-year-old Larry Madison was jogging along 1100 East near 3800 South around 7 a.m. when an Chevy Astro van headed southbound hit Madison. Unified police Lt. Justin Hoyal said it was unclear where exactly he was jogging on the street and what caused the crash.

When police arrived, they found Madison in extremely critical condition. He was transported to Intermountain Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
