(KSL News) Fire investigators have determined that the fire at the Walker Center building at 175 South Main Street was accidental. The exact cause of the fire remains under investigation.

When crews arrived last night, they found smoke on several floors of the 100-year-old building.

The few employees still inside were evacuated as crews tried to find the fire.

It was eventually found and contained inside a pipe chase, which is used to carry electricity and other utilities throughout the building.

The fire department estimated damage at $100,000.
