WASHINGTON (AP) -- A Florida company is recalling about 37,000 electric hot pots because the bottom of the pot can separate, posing a burn hazard to consumers.

Atico International USA Inc., of Ft. Lauderdale, has received five reports of Kitchen Gourmet hot pots separating, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said Thursday. No injuries have been reported.

The recalled hot pots, used to heat beverages, are made of white plastic and have a date code of 0702 on the bottom of the pot and box. The pots were sold nationwide at Walgreens stores from September 2002 to January 2003.

Consumers can return the hot pots to the store where they were purchased for a full refund or contact the company at 1-800-645-3867 for more information.
