(KSL News) -- Honda has recalled 24-thousand of its 2005 and 2006 TRCX400-EX all terrain vehicles.

According to Honda, a safety lever on the transmission can malfunction, allowing the rider to accidentally shift from first gear into reverse.

American Honda has received four complaints about this, but so far no one has been injured.

The ATVs were sold nationwide from September 2004 through last month for around $5900.
