SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- AAA Utah says gasoline prices in the state went up 9 cents since last month.
The group said Tuesday the average price in Utah for a gallon of regular, self-serve gasoline is $2.70 -- the 12th highest in the country. But that's still $1.15 lower than a year ago.
The national average price of a gallon of regular, self-serve gas is $2.58, 6 cents lower than last month and $1.08 lower than a year ago.
Among cities surveyed by AAA Utah, Ogden is reporting a current price of $2.63. Salt Lake City is averaging $2.66 and Logan $2.62 a gallon. Provo is at $2.68 and St. George is averaging $2.74.
