Amanda Butterfield reporting There's a house fire in Taylorsville tonight, and at least one person has been burned and one person is unaccounted for.

The house is near 3200 West and 4900 South. Medics have taken one person to the hospital. There are reports that one person is missing.

Fire crews arrived to find the house fully engulfed in flames. They are still working to knock the fire down, and smoke can still be seen coming from the home.

Because of the heavy fire activity, fire crews have not been able to enter the home yet.

Neighbor Keith Hafen called 911. He then tried to reach the roof with a ladder in order to pull a boy from the second story. He was unable to reach the boy and says he is unsure if fire crews were able to get him out.

Hafen described the scene, saying, "I heard some yelling going on. My daughter heard some yelling going on. I came outside, and there were flames coming out of the front of their house, upstairs and in the backyard."
