(KSL News) There was a small fire today at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building in downtown Salt Lake.
When fire officials arrived, they found several smoldering mop heads in a utility room in the basement of the building. Officials say it appears as if the mops spontaneously combusted, though they are still investigating.
The building was evacuated as a safety precaution, but no one was hurt and there was only minor smoke damage.
