(KSL News) A car accident caused a thre-mile backup in Parley's Canyon today.
Officials say the driver of a Mazda was driving down the canyon too fast and lost control. It slammed into a barrier wall, then bounced into a semi truck.
The driver of the Mazda was flown to Intermountain Medical Center in serious condition. The driver of the semi truck was not hurt.

Officials say people need to slow down because there are still slick spots on the road, which could get worse as the temperatures drop tonight.
