Suzanne Viehweg ReportingInvestigators are closely watching surveillance footage after a robbery suspect splashed hot coffee on a cashier. Police say this robbery may be connected to other crimes overnight.

Their plan, divide and conquer. The weapon of choice a scalding cup of coffee. Investigators say the two suspects, described as black men in their twenties, entered a 7-11 at 8th South and 9th West about 6am. One asked for change in exchange for cash, while the second man got a drink. Zeny was at the register.

"The other one threw the coffee at me, so of course I stepped back."

Zeny says she's ok but is a little nervous to be at work. Detective Kevin Joiner says the suspects may be linked to three other robberies overnight.

"Similar descriptions and some of them similar in the way they were carried out."
