FAMILY FAVORITE STEW
1 pound ground beef
2 cups water
2 cans (14 1/2 ounces each diced tomatoes in spices, undrained)
1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
1 bag (16 ounces) frozen carrots and green beans or other combination
2 1/4 cups Original Bisquick mix
2/3 cup milk
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1) Heat over to 425. Cook beef in oven proof 4-quart Dutch over over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until brown; drain. Stir in water, tomatoes, tomato paste and vegetables. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
2) Mix Bisquick, milk and parsley until soft dough forms. Drop dough by 6 spoonfuls onto beef mixture. Remove from heat.
3) Bake uncovered 20-25 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown and stew is bubbly.
