(KSL News) Officials are investigating a deadly auto-pedestrian accident that happened Sunday evening.
The Utah County Sheriff's Office says a 92-year-old woman was hit by a van while crossing the street in a crosswalk at 100 N. Main St. in Alpine. It happened around 6 p.m.
A medical helicopter was called in, but by the time it arrived it was too late. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
