Before I get to number 1, let's recap the top plays as chosen by me:

5. Chuckie Keeton 50 yard pass to Chuck Jacobs/Chuckie Keeton 76 yard run.

4. Interceptions by Will Davis and Bojay Filimoeatu in the Idaho game.

3. Kerwynn Williams 86 yard catch and 86 yard run.

2. 13 sack game against San Jose State

To me, the number 1 play, or plays, was a no brainer. No wins were bigger to this Utah State team than the 27-20 overtime win against Utah and the 48-41 overtime win over then ranked Louisiana Tech.

I had to pick the 4th and goal and 4th and 3 stop by the Aggie defense as the best plays of the year.

2011 was painful for Utah State. We watched as victories over Auburn, Colorado State, and BYU slipped through the Aggies fingers. 2012, things changed. The defense finally got the stops they needed to close out games and gave the team confidence moving forward. It's hard to imagine Utah State ends up where they are if they don't get that win over Utah.

Jeremiah Jensen sat down with me to talk about my choice for the number 1 play.
