(KSL News) The so-called "Highway 101 Bandit" has been captured.
Arthur Eli Cheney is suspected of robbing several banks, including one in Utah, since July.
His nickname came from the fact that most of the 17 banks he robbed were located along Highway 101 in northern California.
He was arrested yesterday in Napa after a California Highway Patrol trooper spotted a car that matched the description of one used in the robberies.
A note was found in the car that read, "robber... hundreds and fifties only."
