(KSL News) A brazen theft occurred today at a Taylorsville gun shop.
Police say a man was checking out some guns at Doug's Shoot N' Sport when he picked one up, said he needed to get some cash, then took off out the door.
The man hopped in a truck and sped off, almost hitting another customer pulling in. That customer followed the suspect, but couldn't keep up. Police say he was going 90 to 100 miles per hour.
He was driving a gray 2007 Dodge pickup with the license plate 324 USW. The gun he stole is a Beretta Mini Cougar.
