(KSL News) -- An investigation into sexual misconduct resulted today in charges against two former Washington County Sheriff's deputies.

Beaver County Attorney Von J. Christensen filed the charges this morning against Corrections Sergeant Charles David Mrkvicka and Deputy Brian Stubbs.

Stubbs and Mrkvicka are accused of engaging in consensual intercouse with female inmates at the Purgatory Correctional facility. Three other deputies face similar allegations, but have yet to be charged.

Stubbs and Mrkvicka now face charges of custodial sexual relations and custodial sexual misconduct.
