British author NICK HORNBY's record store tale HIGH FIDELITY is set to hit Broadway, New York at Christmas (06) - as a new musical.

The novel has already been turned into a hit film, starring JOHN CUSACK and JACK BLACK, and now it's hitting the stage.

The project will premiere in Boston, Massachusetts, in September (06) and will open in New York at the end of November (06).

Tony Award-winner WALTER BOBBIE has signed on to direct and CHRISTOPHER GATTELLI will choreograph. AMANDA GREEN, TOM KITT and DAVID LINDSAY-ABAIRE have scored the 'pop musical.' (KL/WNWC/ES)
