"Luz de las naciones - Sus promesas" was the theme of the Latino cultural event held in the Conference Center in Salt Lake City in late October.

The production celebrated the coming of Jesus Christ to the New World and tells the legends of the great white god who visited the various civilizations in the Americas and on the isles of the sea.

Included in the program was a dramatization of the coming forth of the Book of Mormon.

The production featured actors and hundreds of dancers performing ancient and traditional Latin American, Polynesian, and Native American folk dances.
