(KSL News) A group of students on the University of Utah campus wants the right to carry guns to school in plain view.
Members of the Second Amendment Students of Utah say the school has circumvented the legislature and imposed its own laws on campus.
Currently, students with concealed permits can carry on campus but risk expulsion if their guns are visible.
University officials say the rule complies with a statute that specifically bars firearms on school campuses.
