(KSL News) Utah teachers may get their full promised raises and bonuses after all.

The Utah State Office of Education has asked the Legislature to approve an additional $22.3 million in funding in order to give teachers a $2,500 raise and $1,000 bonus.

The raise was approved in last year's legislative session. However, it was only handed out in full to 14 of the state's 40 school districts due to bad estimates on the number of teachers deserving the money.
