In the late 1990's, we were fortunate to know a great young family who'd moved into our neighborhood—Jeff and Tamara Olsen and their young son, Spencer. My husband and Jeff had a lot in common career-wise, and Tamara and I were friends and had a great trade going—every morning, she'd drive our 10th grade son to the high school where she taught (much-appreciated by this newscaster mom who got home late at night!). In return, I'd tend Spence after school before heading into work on early-out days. They were a wonderful family to know.

Then, in the Spring of 1997, we were sad to learn they'd had a terrible car accident on the way home from vacation in Southern Utah. It was an event that changed their lives forever—as well as those of every family member and friend they had.

This Sunday on "Mormon Times TV," join us as Jeff Olsen tells his tragic story of tremendous loss that is also full of hope, joy and peace…with many lessons learned along the way.

At the recent LDS Semi-Annual General conference, President Dieter F. Uchtdorf's general conference message touched on key ways to avoid regrets by making some resolutions today. Relationship expert Matt Townsend will be along to dig deeper into how we can make these resolutions a reality in our lives.

Plus you'll see how a young women's group from Norway made memories for a lifetime when they traveled halfway around the world for this month's conference sessions.

You'll also find out what happened after a young woman gave her teacher a copy of the Book of Mormon, then "met" the unexpected fruits of her labors over a decade later. It's a touching story that just might motivate you to step-up your efforts to share the gospel.

And what kind of music do you listen to in your home on the Sabbath? And how does it affect your family? "Soft Sunday Sounds" host Steven Kapp Perry (FM 100.3) will be here to offer some ideas and show how worthy, inspiring Sabbath music can really make a difference at home.
