(KSL News) The Road Home and YWCA are hosting their annual Candy Cane Corner, a holiday gift store for homeless families.
Today, they opened the doors to the public for donations of unwrapped gifts.
On Monday, the doors will open to the shoppers who will have the opportunity to choose gifts for themselves and family members.
When the gifts have been chosen and wrapped, they will be stored for each family until Christmas Eve, when they'll be passed out.
If you would like to donate unwrapped items, you can drop them off at the YWCA Gymnasium at 322 E. 300 South on the east side of the building.
Drop-off times are Monday through Friday from noon to 7 p.m. and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
