(KSL News) Gov. Jon Huntsman and First Lady Mary Kaye Huntsman had some special guests in their home today.

Students from Hill Field Elementary School helped the Huntsmans decorate their Mansion Christmas tree with ornaments they created.

They hung everything from original books they wrote, to a paper chain they glued together.

Children Help Decorate Governor's Christmas Tree

The Huntsmans also took the opportunity to read to the kids and teach them about the importance of literacy.
