Randall Jeppesen reporting A lot of dating Web sites are being advertised along the Wasatch Front, and one consumer group says you need to be careful before signing up.

Walking around towns all over the Wasatch Front you can find lawn signs that say if you're single, go to a certain Web site.

So far, Utah Consumer Protection Director Francine Giani says they have not investigated any complaints, but she says people still need to use caution.

Giani says if you are going to sign up for a dating site, try learning about the company first. She says when you're filling out personal information on a site your unfamiliar with you don't know what the information will be used for.
