(KSL News) The so-called "safari hat bandit" has been captured.
FBI agents took John Badgett into custody in Texas earlier this week.
He is suspected of at least 10 robberies in western states this fall, including one in Logan. Badgett is called the "safari hat bandit" because of his unusual choice of hat for his robberies.
He was turned in by his brother, who the FBI thinks aided Badgett in the crimes.
