(KSL News) A man who was on the run for almost two months before being caught in Oregon made an initial appearance this morning in federal court.

Robert Preece pleaded not guilty to eight counts, including armed bank robbery, brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence, and possession of a firearm by a felon.

He'll remain behind bars at the Salt Lake County Jail until his next court appearance, which is scheduled for January.
