(KSL News) He has spent 14 years behind bars for the kidnapping and sexual assault of a 5-year-old girl, and now the parole board has ruled Michael Yoder will spend the rest of his life in prison.

Utah's parole board heard from Yoder earlier this month about why he should be released. He claimed he was in an alcoholic blackout at the time of the crime.

Yesterday, the board ruled he is still a danger to society and should be kept in prison.
